keepin it simple for 2013 NYRs

This isn’t to say I don’t have career and school and spiritual and other personal-growth goals, but, trying to keep things simple.

(1) Sleep earlier. Before midnight ideally, before 11pm would be even better! I was actually accomplishing this during the first part of anatomy so I believe it can be done. =P

(2) Eat less meat. One of my best friends is starting to go vegan, so now I have 2-ish vegans and a fregan in my life in addition to countless vegetarians/pescatarians. Listening to them talk about how much better they feel as well as how much more sustainable it is to eat plant-based foods, I’m ready to start cutting back. I don’t eat that much meat to begin with and I cook once a week, so if I just reduce the meat in the food I cook I can still make a lot of progress without eliminating dimsum and kbbq and other meat-containing restaurant goodies from my life. :D

(3) Keep meeting new people. By this I mean, keep meeting completely different people and also keep getting to know people I’ve interacted with but don’t know very well.

That’s it. :) Happy 2013 all!
